Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve

55 hectares of subtropical rainforest in Maleny overlooking the Glass House Mountains, with an easy 2km loop walk and an on-site Rainforest Discovery Centre with café. Free entry to the reserve, open daily.

A diverse array of animals and plants can be found:

• 391 plant species - seven of these are listed as rare, vulnerable or near-threatened
• 141 bird species
• 68 species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians – eight of which are near-threatened or threatened
